Documentary Wedding Photographer – Andy McDonald

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

manchester wedding photographerHi There I’m Andy, a documentary Wedding Photographer i’m commited to capturing images of your wedding celebrations that will bring both happy smiles and a tear or two from time to time, thinking of those all so special moments that make you wedding day so special.

I’m living in the area in which i was born just east of Manchester, close enough to Greater Manchesters great shopping and it’s nightlife but also the gorgeous countryside which i love to visit when i can with the family. Not forgetting the  wonderful manchester wedding venues we have in the area.

I’m a father to Ava who has brought so much joy in to my life and a husband to Erika, who is my inspiration, support and best friend. I Love you both xx

Primarily i love to take photographs and love photography as a creative media, i know i’m very lucky to do what i love and enjoy the rewards it brings. My style is always developing and I continue to look, watch and learn from everyday life, which enables me to develop my modern documentary wedding photography style, which i’m finding is in great demand.

You can take a look at some of my favourite images within my gallery, this is always being updated with new images. All posts of my latest work and also to enable you to follow me on the many social networks we have to support these days, you can visit my blog .

As well as documentary wedding photography i’m a keen boxing fan and very excited to be involved with a professional sports camp right here in Manchester. I’ve been commisioned to document through photography, the training of a professional boxer. This  hasnt been done before and of course allows me to exercise my love for photojournalism and also fine tune my skills when it comes to documentary wedding photography in Manchester the UK and Ireland.

Here are a just a couple of examplesof the kind words that past customers have had to say about my work and our commitment to customer care.

Stuart and Ann Marie- The Inn at Whitewell

“We’re so thrilled with the wedding album, it’s even better than we exepected. Your images have really captured the emotions and atmosphere of the day. We’re lost for words! Except to say a massive thank you for being part of our wedding and helping to amuse everyone along the way, we know you had your hands full, especially with some of our guests, need i say more. Thanks again.”

Chris and Helen- St Mary’s Church- Marriot Hotel Manchester

“Andy and Erika, thanks for all the help you gave us when we were making out plans. You’ve been so easy to deal with and nothing has been too much trouble.  As for the slideshow it brings back all the memories of our wedding day every time we watch it. We’ll be in touch to talk about a frame, problem is which iages to choose!”

So if you’re just engaged Congratulations, or if you’ve been planning your manchester wedding day for as long as you can remember, I wish you all the best in your planning and the very best for your wedding day and your long, happy and healthy future together.

I’ve recently been invited to join a fantastic new organisation the “IPPN”, a community of proffessional photographers based mostly across the UK & Ireland with a growing number of member around the world. The aim of the forum is to help educate the members and of course share best practice.

One of the many benefits to being a member of the IPPN to my customers is that, god forbid that in any event I could not attend your wedding day, the community is prepared to support and fullfil commissions at any notice. Recently a member had to undergo major surgery and his commitments to clients were honoured with absolutley no negative effects to the customer. You should consider how your photographer wll honour your booking in the event that he or she cannot attend. This isn’t a matter of it simply being covered in a contract, there really needs to be a provision in place to manage such events.
